A WORD TO PARENTS
We teach them to have faith in their own ideas, even if everyone tells them they are wrong.
We teach them to be gentle with gentlepeople and tough with the tough, and trying to give your children the strength not to follow the crowd.
we teach them to listen to all people; but teach them also to filter all they hear on a screen of truth, and take only the good that comes through.
We teach your children how to laugh when they are sad … teach them there is no shame in tears. We teach them to close their ears to a howling mob.. and stand and fight if thinks are right.
We treat your children gently, but do not cuddle them, because only the test of fire makes fine steel. Let them have the courage to be impatient…..Let them have the patience to be brave.
